School for CEOs

An enhanced user experience and modernised website design for School for CEOs.

Working with Purple Spider, this website design project for School for CEOs was essential to elevate the previous site design, enhance lead generation and SEO, and address a number of user pain points.

School for CEOs required a website that was easy to update and would support the business growth - allowing them to add new products, services and blog content with ease. The previous site build had been hard coded, so was not easily content manageable (updates needed to go via a developer) and was no longer fit for purpose. Therefore a key objective of this site design and build was to allow flexibility within the templates, and more control over the page layouts and content.

As such, myself and Purple Spider approached this project in a modular way. A variety of site controls/content blocks were designed to fit within a selection of page templates, making the creation of new pages, or sections within those pages a seamless process.

In addition to major changes in the site structure and content management, we worked on a range of enhancements to the site including revision of the sitemap and new navigation structure, which streamlined the overall user journey. Call to action buttons were made clearer with the enquiry process simplified to enable better lead generation, and also easier enquiry processing client-side. New page templates were designed to house case studies and services information, as well as content blocks/widgets for previously overlooked content such as testimonials and client listing.

Overall, the look and feel is clean, minimalist and professional - generally informed by the existing brand. But the key to the success of this project is undoubtedly the massively improved user experience, for both the School for CEOs team and their site visitors.
